What a factory needs for a sweatshirt
Fleece
GSM (280–340 is typical), brushed or loopback, and composition. Say whether the GSM is before or after washing.
Rib heights
Neck rib (about 2.5 cm), cuff and hem rib (about 6 cm), and rib stretch.
Raglan or set-in sleeve
Say which; the measurements change. Set-in sleeves measure from the shoulder point, raglans from the centre back neck.

V-insert at the neck, side panels, or a flat-lock seam if you want one.

Common mistakes
- Using T-shirt sleeve measurements for a long sleeve.
- No rib stretch spec, so the neck is too tight to pull over the head.
